Happy Oscars weekend! Whether or not you have seen all the nominated movies (Ok, Django Unchained just looked too intense for me!) its a fun time to get together with friends and judge the fashion. Make it a theme party ~ old Hollywood glam! Try this necklace at Francesca’s reminiscent of old-school pearls with a modern edge.

Make the snack table look like a winner with these easy-to-make centerpieces! Paint Ken dolls gold and make them hold up the flowers!

Serve mini bottles of Champy! They are so cute and obviously one glass is not enough. Plus if you start your party early enough you can make mimosas… the E! Red Carpet show starts mid afternoon right?

2. Use a striper to paint the lines for the black suit. I used my Orly black striper.
3. Fill in your black lines. I use China Glaze’s Liquid Leather.
4. Then use the striper again to make the bows and the buttons. It takes time, and my bows didn’t look exactly perfect, but they were still cute! I got a ton of complements on them and I will definitely do them again! I wish I did them for the Shedd Gala!
